Testing

The Williamson County Health Department is providing COVID-19 testing following protocols from the CDC and the Tennessee Department of Health.

Appointments

Health Department administered PCR testing will be available by appointment only on Tuesdays from 3:00 – 4:00p at the Franklin Clinic, located at 1324 W Main St, Franklin, TN 37064. Those wishing to schedule a test may call the health department at (615) 465-5318.

Self-Test Kits

Free self-test kits are available during the health department’s normal business hours at both Franklin and Fairview Clinic locations.

Test Results

Current turnaround time for test results is 24-48 hours. If you experience issues, or have additional questions about a negative result, please call 1-866-332-2879. Test results for Everlywell PCR self-test kits will go directly to the individual.

Local health departments will never ask for your financial data or social security information. If you test positive and receive a call from a health department contact tracer, they will ask you to confirm your name, date of birth, and phone number.
