Overview
The primary mission of the Williamson County Juvenile Detention Center is to protect the community and rehabilitate juvenile offenders.
The Williamson County 12-Bed Detention Center provides a short-term safe and secure environment to juveniles who are awaiting court adjudication, transfer to another jurisdiction, or who have been adjudicated as a delinquent offender. Although adjacent to the jail, all juveniles are kept out of sight and sound of adult prisoners. Williamson County also contracts with surrounding counties who do not have detention facilities and with the Department of Children's Services.

The staff is comprised of certified and well-trained full-time officers, a supervisor, and variable hours staff as needed. The facility operates in accordance with state standards developed by the Department of Children's Services.
Parental visiting hours are from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm daily, as circumstances allow.
The Juvenile Detention Center is located on the same site as the Juvenile Services Office and courtrooms.
