PUBLIC HEARING

The Williamson County Board of Health will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, September 19, at 5:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of the Williamson County Administrative Complex to accept any additional public comment and take action on these proposed amendments to the Regulations Governing On-Site Sewage Disposal Systems in Williamson County as described below.

Proposed Amendments to the Regulations Governing On-Site Sewage Disposal Systems in Williamson County related to:

1. Nonconforming systems and vested rights – Section 2

2. Additional and updated definitions – Section 3

3. Number of septic systems required for a structure – Section 4

4. Pump sizing calculations – Section 16

5. Septic system installer licensing procedures – Section 24

6. Appeals procedures – Section 25

7. Mix of types of systems permitted – Section 26

8. Temporary repairs – Section 34

9. Pipe size requirements – Appendices 3, 12

10. Minimum areas and size of septic system areas – Appendix 8
