Press Release - Storm Debris Landfill Limits
PRESS RELEASEAs a result of current weather related storm debris, Williamson County Mayor, RogersAnderson has announced today that the current 5-ton yearly limit of debris at the WilliamsonCounty Landfill is temporarily being increased to 10-tons/year at no charge to the resident,effective immediately until close of business on February 20, 2026.The Landfill operating hours are Monday through Saturday, 7:00 am until 3:15 p.m. ForGPS directions, please use 5750 Pinewood Road and proceed to 5760 to the entrance of theMaterials Recycling Center (MRF).This usage is permissible for Williamson County residents only, living at a WilliamsonCounty residence a minimum of 180 days per calendar year.Residents must show a valid Tennessee Drivers License upon entering the MRF. Should the resident hire a private contractor for this removal service, the private hauler will becharged for the unloading of the debris and there will be two (2) scales in operation.If the county resident with the valid TDL is present in a commercial vehicle upon arrivalat the MRF, there will be no charge to the hauler.Convenience Centers are not currently accepting storm debris. If residents can wait untilwarmer, safer weather to clear their personal property, the convenience centers will be accepting the storm debris at a later date
